Taryn Kay is an actress, presenter, singer, dancer and voice over artist, Trained at Laine Theatre Arts. Her firsy acting job was weekly rep at Frinton theatre directed by Jack Watling and followed by other repertory seasons including Worthing, Birmingham and Peterborough.
Taryn has had a varied career including TV, film, corporate videos, repertory theatres, variety shows, musicals, music hall, pantomimes, presenting at exhibitions and events.
Played the gnome lady Margaret in the promo video for the feature film Sherlock Gnomes. TV credits include a murder suspect Shelley in ‘A TOUCH OF FROST’ (Yorkshire TV), Mrs. Dunlop in ‘That’s English’ for Spanish TV. In the film PARTING SHOTS Taryn played Ruth Leyton (Bob Hoskins’ wife) directed by Michael Winner. Portrayed an older Stacey Solomon talking head in NEVER MIND THE BUZZCOCKS aired 2015. On Crime and Investigation TV she played the lead in a true life drama documentary titled ’50 WAYS TO KILL YOUR LOVER’.
On TV numerous commercials including client sectors such as Personal Care, Insurance, Consumer Health Technology, Home Care, Food and Drinks Industry and the Automotive industry.
Performed at The London Palladium 2017 as one of Dougie Squires Generation dancers for The Vera Lynn 100 tribute attended by HRH The Queen. Host for the prestigious London Hair And Beauty Awards 2017 and The London Wedding Awards 2020. On QVC demonstrating and talking about The No No!
Other credits include presenting online for clients in sectors such as Insurance, Healthcare, plus playing a corporate CEO in the IT industry and playing a team head of a global private banking firm in the Financial Services sector.
