Originally from Sheffield, Kate came to acting after a career as a solicitor, advising a range of Government departments and other public bodies.
Kate retrained as an actor at the Oxford School of Drama and has a wealth of experience in corporate role-play, workshop facilitation, corporate film and presenting.
Kate is warm and down to earth and balances professionalism with an honest and human approach. She is confident providing constructive and supportive feedback, empowering others to reflect on and improve their communication skills.
A strong improviser, Kate can work from a character brief or with scripted text. Her legal career has equipped her with the ability to learn fast, be flexible and understand large volumes of technical information.
Beyond her native Yorkshire, she is comfortable performing in a range of regional accents and in RP.
Kate holds a full, clean UK driving licence.
